What Forum Moderators do (and what we never touch)

   What do Forum Moderators actually do here? Fair question.

   We read flags, move threads to the right board, add spoiler tags people forgot, and step in when a disagreement stops being about films. We will usually nudge first and edit second. Locking a thread is rare, and we will always say why.

   What we do not do: pick winners in arguments, delete posts because we disagree with a take, or tell you which tickers to like. The Oracle is rule based and moderators do not touch its calls. If you think a signal is wrong, the Method and Feed status pages explain how it is built, and the Oracle Pit is where you argue about it.

   Adding the data side: if a line on the Home looks broken, I am the one to ping. Moderation and the pipeline are kept separate on purpose.

   Appreciate that moderators cannot touch the Oracle. Nothing kills trust in a signal faster than someone quietly adjusting it.

   We remove unverified rumors about real productions and real people, and link to the guidelines. Talking about what the public signals show is fine. Speculating about someone's private business is not.

   As someone who has moderated comment sections at work, this is a sane policy. Nudge first is underrated.
