Logged everyone into a sheet. Current consensus: the board is bullish on basically everything, which historically means someone is about to get humbled.
Home joke: the $SURV index is the most reliable map I own and it still shows me a lot of fog.
$CRTR against $SURV is a fun overlay. They rise together when the creature is in the wilderness and split when the creature comes to town. I also charted it against my cat's feeding schedule. No correlation, sadly.
The social horror cluster on CRYPT ($PHSM, $DBDL and friends) behaves more like a hobby than a hit. Steady weekly rhythm, spikes around events and holidays.
This is basically the divergence setup. When title heat climbs faster than the genre ticker, a specific film is pulling people in. When both move together, the whole genre is lifting. Not advice, but I trust the second one more.
I did. Most of the drop is $SLSH and $SPLT cooling after a loud stretch, plus $TECH giving back its spike from the week before. Nothing collapsed, three things just exhaled at once.
I overlaid my own festival week notes on the $SUPR and $PSYC lines. The trade driven bumps decayed within a week. The fan driven ones had longer tails. Sample size of one cat, not advice.
Well. At least my cat's chart is fine.
I assumed delta was since yesterday and have been drawing charts on that basis for two weeks. Following with mild dread.
Pulled the $FOLK chart against $MDSM and $WTCH. The catalog titles tick up every autumn like clockwork, which props the index even when new releases are quiet. Seasonal bid, basically.
Chart note: the ritual cluster, where $FOLK and $SUPR overlap, gets steady Oracle calls rather than hot ones. Rule based, so it is really saying the conversation never goes quiet.
Could the email include a tiny sparkline? I know, I know. I chart my cat.
Not the same. I think of strength as how loud the tape is and conviction as how much the rules believe it. But I would love the official version.
The $SURV index splits nicely if you tag remakes vs original titles. Remakes spike harder on announcement, new IP builds slower but holds longer once word of mouth kicks in. Both are fine trades, just different time horizons.
Charted the two lines on the Index page for the last six weeks. Every time $FOLK rises, $SLSH drifts down, and vice versa. Correlation is strongly negative. Is this a real rotation or am I charting my cat again?
For the chart people: I overlaid the $FOLK line with the call timestamp. The call landed about two windows before the first real inflection. Two windows is thirty minutes. We are talking about a very small lead, but it was a lead.
Does investor flair mean I have to end every sentence with 'not advice'? Because I already do.
The $FOLK index has a regional filter and Indonesia's line is the least spiky one I track. Fewer hype peaks, more steady baseline. That is what a healthy market looks like.
Appreciate it. Until then I will keep clicking Export and whispering 'soon' to my cat.
Confirmed on my charts. $CNJR trailer day looked like a skyscraper on the title ticker and a speed bump on $SUPR.
Request: a public API. Export is great, but I want to pull the board on my own schedule into my own charts without clicking a button like a medieval peasant.
