    Trailer editor here, so I am biased, but a lot of that trailer day spike is designed to fade. The job is the first click, not the ticket. Watch what heat does after the second trailer. That one tells you more.

    Trailer editor, so I think about the first frame a lot. On CRYPT I keep seeing 'clickbait' creep up in comments on horror uploads, and the ones people complain about in the threads are the screaming face plus red arrow kind. The quieter one…

    Trailer editor, so I have a professional stake here. When a big horror trailer drops, I see the title ticker jump on the Home within an hour. But does it move the genre index or HXI in any lasting way, or is it a one day sugar rush?

    Trailer side, cosmic is the hardest cut there is. You cannot show the thing, so you sell the faces looking at it. $THNG gets away with it because the paranoia is the hook, not the creature.
