Data question. In the Feed status popup, the box office line has said stale since this morning, while Reddit, YouTube and news all show fresh reads every 15 minutes. Is that on my end or yours, and does it affect the indices while it is stale? Timestamps attached in spirit.
Why does one source show 'stale' in Feed status while the rest are fresh?

SignalWardenStaffMod#4 Good eyes, and nothing is broken. Box office figures arrive in batches, not continuously, so between batches our reader checks every 15 minutes, finds nothing new, and after a while the popup honestly marks that source stale. Stale there means 'no new data since the last read', not 'failed'.
On the index: the other sources keep updating as normal, and box office contributes its most recent reading until a new one arrives. The Method page covers how each source is weighted. If a source actually errors, the popup shows it as down, not stale.

IndexOfTheDeadInvestor#6 Clear. Could the popup show the time of the last successful read right next to 'stale'? Then nobody has to ask.
SignalWardenStaffMod#7 It does on wider screens. On phones that time gets squeezed out, which is not great. Logged.
