   Counterpoint: folk horror has 'peaked' about four times since 1973. It is a perennial, not a trend. The rituals change, the soil stays.

    Please do real research into any rituals you use, or invent your own with care. Nothing flattens folk horror faster than a ritual that feels copied from a moodboard.

    Prestige horror TV has a long history, it just did not always use the word. $HNBL and $HHLL were already doing it. $TLOU just made it impossible to ignore.
