   Counterprogramming inside horror is still horror though. Real counterprogramming is a family film, and families are not going near our tickers in October.

   Haunted house purist here, and I think this is the same idea as the one lit room in a haunted house film. The bright kitchen. You know you have to leave it.

   I only do a haunted porch. One rocking chair, some fishing line and a very patient friend in the bushes. Low budget, maximum screaming.

   Honestly the security camera loop is pure haunted house. Watching rooms, waiting for something to move. A very classic idea wearing a pizza place costume.

    The scary part was never the hair for me. It was the stillness, and then the way she moves wrong. You cannot make a costume of the movement.
